Troubleshooting Guide
Having trouble with your SmartHome setup? Here are the most common issues and how to fix them.
Device Won't Connect
- Ensure the device is within 30 feet of the Hub or router.
- Check the device is in pairing mode (refer to its manual).
- Ensure your router broadcasts on 2.4 GHz — some devices don't support 5 GHz.
- Restart the Hub and try again.
Device Goes Offline Frequently
- Move the Hub closer to the device or your router.
- Check for Wi-Fi interference from neighbouring networks.
- Consider adding a SmartHome Range Extender.
App Not Responding
- Force-close and reopen the app.
- Check for app updates in the App Store or Play Store.
- Ensure your phone's Bluetooth and location are enabled.
Factory Reset
To reset a device, press and hold its reset button for 10 seconds until the LED flashes red. Then re-add it via the app.
